In a futuristic, alternate war-ravaged Great Britain, a boy named Luka breaks his promise to his sister Elena to feed the faeries when she's evacuated to safety. Realizing too late that the faeries are not only real, but also vengeful, Luka bands with friends Max and Hazel, and a rouge faerie to protect his home and keep Elena safe.
