In order to save his beloved Astrid, Dane the Defiant must defeat his former nemesis, Thidrek the Terrifying, who has been resurrected by the goddess Hel to find the Ship of the Dead, and Dane, with help from the Ruin Warriors, must find the ship before Thidrek to prevent him from creating an army of dead soldiers to overthrow mankind.
