Sam Miracle is a young boy with arms that barely work, but his life is filled with extremely vivid daydreams that he is not quite sure aren't memories of a past life. In his dreams, Sam is a legendary hero, and he is about to learn that his two worlds are separated only by time--time, which can shift and bend at the will of the "time walkers." Sam is found by one time walker who wants to protect him, and by another who wants to destroy him to prevent a prophecy from being fulfilled. Only an adventurous girl named Glory, as well as two strange snakes, can show Sam the way through time to help him secure the future of the world.
