On a farm in Maine, a bashful pig named Wilbur meets a spider named Charlotte living in the rafters above his pen, and the two become fast friends. When a devastated Wilbur learns of the farmer's plans for him, Charlotte comes to the rescue, weaving a web to save her new friend's life.
