It's the 1980's and Kate Meaney is hard at work as a "junior" detective at the newly opened Green Oaks Shopping Mall. Busy "trailing" suspects and carefully observing anything around her, Kate forms an unlikely friendship with Adrian, the son of a local shopkeeper.
